INVESTIGATION OF ACUPUNCTURE REDOX-NEEDLE MECHANISM OF INFLUENCE BY METHODS OF ELECTROCHEMICAL AND POLAROGRAPHIC ANALYSIS
Dynamics of electrochemical potential of acupuncture needles has been investigated by the methods of potentiometry and polarography. Electrochemical characteristics of needles, made from various metals, as well ass needles of different manufacture has been estimated in comparison. Dynamic modification of the needle electrochemical characteristics with the use of tiny power battery – Dr. Redox stick, that allows microelectrophoresis and microelectropuncture, - has been studied.
In accordance with the results of the investigation, special manufacture of the needle, made from stainless steel with the addition of silver, approximates its electrochemical characteristics to those of precious metals due to the increment of electroconductivity of surface oxidizes cover. Nevertheless, these needle characteristics and needles themselves are valid for one occasion only. The use of Dr. Redox stick intensify Redox processes during acupuncture.
